Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA)
The Copyright Licensing Agency Limited (CLA) licenses organisations to photocopy and scan from magazines, books, journals and digital publications on behalf of authors, publishers and visual creators.

Intellectual Property Office (IPO)
The Intellectual Property Office site provides information on many aspects of Intellectual Property including the use of copyrighted material in teaching establishments and copyright to helped visually impaired people.

JISC CASPER
Casper is a JISC funded project offering copyright advice and support project for e-learning resources

JISC Digital Media
JISC Digital Media (formerly known as TASI) is a JISC Advisory Service, which provides advice, guidance and training to the UK's Further and Higher Education community on creating and delivering digital media resources using digital media resources to support teaching, learning and research and managing small and large scale digitisation projects.

While focuses in the main on still images, moving images and sound resources much of the content can be applied to the digitisation of print materials.

JISC Digitisation and e-Content

JISC Legal
JISC Legal provides a wealth of legal advice for ICT use in education and research. There is a section dedicated to copyright / IPR and includes web casts outlining digital copyright and copyright and e-learning. Sign up to the RSS feed as the site also provides up to date news features.

Keeping Within the Law
Keeping Within the Law is a subscription resource published by Facet. It aims to be the definitive source of advice, guidance and news on what can and cannot be done in relation to copyright and information law issues.

Libraries and Archives Copyright Alliance (LACA)
The Copyright Alliance is provided by CILIP. The site provides links to copyright advice and guidance and CILIP also offers a basic copyright service to its members.

Strategic Content Alliance (SCA)
The Strategic Content Alliance is a JISC-funded initiative committed to delivering best practice for the provision of online e-content for UK citizens.
SCA has published case studies and a toolkit to provide guidance on Intellectual Property Rights and licensing issues of digital content, as well as papers on sustaining digital resources.

Web2Rights
Developed to offer practical and relevant Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and other legal issues toolkits to support the projects funded within the JISC Users and Innovation Programme. Looks at the IPR and legal challenges associated with Web2.0 technologies.
