Providing a digitisation service is a good way of increasing access to resources.
There are three audiences to target when considering the promotion of this service:

Academics
Encouraging academics to use digitised materials in their teaching and utilise the Virtual Learning Environment

Users
Promote the use of digitised materials to users and educate how they can be accessed

Library Staff
Brief library staff on digitisation so they are equipped to answer questions and promote the service

Identify ‘champions’ in each faculty, who are keen adopters of using digitised materials and work with them to encourage others to follow.

Also seek out the people would aren't so enthusiastic, it’s important to understand why people aren’t engaging and you could help demystify some of their apprehension.
