Digitisation
Publicity

Posters and leaflets are one way of promoting the digitisation services of your institution to your academics and users. These can be distributed at meetings or sent out as an internal mail shot to academics.

Publicity to users can be circulated in teaching sessions and open days. Keeping the message simple with well designed materials will ensure a high visual impact. Use publicity as screensavers in the PC suites and on plasma screens.

Place posters where people stand still, there’s more chance they’ll listen to what your publicity has to say. The photocopying area, enquiry desk or issue desk are all great places.

Don’t restrict your message to the library, look to the students union, faculties and departments to spread the word about your initiatives.

Posters

A set of posters has been created to provide some high impact publicity. You can use these to advertise and promote your digitisation services and digital content to academic staff and students.

The designs work well as traditional posters but they can also be used on plasma screens and as PC screensavers.

Go to the intranet to access the posters for your institution. Contact Peter Wynne if you require a username and password.
